Wi-Fi, phones and power supplies can all disturb it, and in a resolving system, he says, such details around a Ethernet cable become enormous.

The Esprit Aura Audiophile Ethernet Cable is an RJ45 network cable from Esprit's Aura range. The Aura Ethernet cable is assembled by hand at Esprit's workshop in Confolens, in 1.2, 2.2 and 3.2 m.

The idea

Esprit calls Aura a decisive advance, a range of more sophisticated architectures conceived for high-end systems, and the Aura Ethernet cable is drawn from it. At this level Esprit reinforces conductor density again, part of the groundwork of the Aura Ethernet cable. Its shielding is quadruple, in silver-plated pure copper, and Esprit describes that protection as reinforced for the network link the Aura Ethernet cable carries. Aura sits at the center of Esprit's nine ranges, the point where the Aura Ethernet cable begins to reach toward the most resolving systems.

By hand, in Charente

In Confolens, Charente, the Aura Ethernet cable is made the way Esprit has always worked, entirely by hand. Esprit says this hand method lets it control every step of making the Aura Ethernet cable and keep each one consistent. Each Aura Ethernet cable then passes two complete inspections, one by its assembler and one at final packing, before it leaves the workshop. It is unhurried work, and the Aura Ethernet cable is made at its pace.

The sound, in Esprit's words

In Esprit's words, the Aura Ethernet cable makes a system quieter, more stable and more immersive, bringing out micro-information, deepening the stage and giving dynamics more freedom.

Telegärtner RJ45 connectors terminate the Aura Ethernet cable. Its shielding is specified as quadruple shielded on air silver-plated pure copper, in line with Esprit's view that an Aura Ethernet cable is shielded according to the sensitivity of its signal. For Esprit, a cable such as the Aura Ethernet cable should simply let the system express what it can do. A well-designed cable cannot be heard, Richard Cesari says, and that is the standard the Aura Ethernet cable is held to.

Finding your place in the range

The Aura Ethernet cable is level 5 of Esprit's nine, above Eterna and below Lumina. The Aura Ethernet cable comes in 1.2, 2.2 and 3.2 m lengths. We're always glad to help you choose, so write to us about the Aura Ethernet cable at any time.
