The story behind every Esprit clock cable begins in 1996. That year Richard Cesari, a lifelong lover of music and hi-fi, began making cables, the work that leads to this clock cable.
The Esprit Gaia Master Clock Cable is a BNC cable for master clock links from Esprit's Gaia range. The Gaia clock cable is assembled by hand at Esprit's workshop in Confolens, in 1 and 1.5 m and in 50 or 75 ohm.
Heritage
Esprit calls Gaia the culmination of the technologies it has developed, its most advanced architectures at their highest maturity, and the Gaia clock cable is made in that spirit. Conductor density in the range is very high, built from pure copper strands of differentiated sections and, on some links, solid silver, and the Gaia clock cable draws on that work. Esprit describes the shielding of the Gaia clock cable as exceptional, with filtering intended to keep only its beneficial properties.
By hand, in Charente
In Confolens, Charente, the Gaia clock cable is made the way Esprit has always worked, entirely by hand. Esprit says this hand method lets it control every step of making the Gaia clock cable and keep each one consistent. Each Gaia clock cable then passes two complete inspections, one by its assembler and one at final packing, before it leaves the workshop. It is unhurried work, and the Gaia clock cable is made at its pace.
What you hear
Esprit speaks of extreme transparency, a three-dimensional stage and impressive stability from the Gaia clock cable. Its own summary of the Gaia sound is the finesse of the studio joined to the organic intensity of live music, an aim the Gaia clock cable is built to serve.
The Gaia clock cable uses Esprit's own Eh Ag connectors, fitted to BNC, since Esprit designs a connector as an extension of the conductor itself. Inside, the Gaia clock cable uses a pure silver star-quad construction. Esprit specifies the shielding of the Gaia clock cable as multilayer full shielding, non-floating progressive shielding. Its conductors are pure silver, a choice Esprit makes in the Gaia clock cable for conductivity rather than for show.
Finding your place in the range
The Gaia clock cable is level 8 of Esprit's nine, above Eureka and below L'Esprit. Order the Gaia clock cable in 50 or 75 ohm, whichever your equipment specifies, and in 1 and 1.5 m. We're always glad to help you choose, so write to us about the Gaia clock cable at any time. You can see the Gaia clock cable beside the other Esprit ranges in our Esprit collection.

Questions
How does the Gaia clock cable differ from the Eureka clock cable?
The Gaia clock cable sits one level above the Eureka clock cable. Compared with the Eureka clock cable, the Gaia clock cable uses Eh Ag connectors in place of Eh 200, a pure silver star-quad geometry and pure silver conductors.
Which connectors does the Gaia clock cable use?
The Gaia clock cable uses Esprit Eh Ag connectors with BNC. Esprit has developed several connector generations so that each range, the Gaia clock cable included, has an interface matched to it.
Should I choose 50 or 75 ohm for the Gaia clock cable?
Choose the impedance your equipment specifies for that connection; the Gaia clock cable is made in both 50 and 75 ohm versions. If the manuals are unclear, send us the model names and we will help you check before you order the Gaia clock cable.
What does the Gaia clock cable cost?
The Gaia clock cable is $7,599 for 1 m and $9,499 for 1.5 m. Sales tax is included in the price of the Gaia clock cable, and we deliver it free anywhere in the USA.
Where is the Gaia clock cable made, and when will it ship?
Esprit builds every Gaia clock cable by hand in its workshop in Confolens, France. The Gaia clock cable usually ships in about 2 weeks, with free delivery anywhere in the USA and sales tax included in the price.
