Why Choose the AMG STA-SE
The SE update lowers MOSFET temperature by 30% at switching speeds above 750kHz, adds aerospace-grade resistors with 1/1000 tolerance and 15ppm drift, and adds a fine-tuned secondary feedback circuit for sharper imaging. Instantaneous supply current rises to 1.5 times that of the original AMG STA, and a new AC supply and SMPS module lower noise.
In mono mode, NuPrime's Single-Ended Direct-Inject Bridge Technology bridges the channels without the usual chain of inverting op-amps. NuPrime says this gives the mono mode better sonic character as well as more power. The AMG front panel is milled from 15mm hardened aerospace aluminum alloy on a four-axis CNC machine with a diamond cutter, in a 48-step process, with a 3D floating logo and diamond-cut edges.
