About the Silent Angel Bonn N16 LPS
Silent Angel Bonn N16 LPS is a 16-port audiophile network switch with two independent zones and a built-in linear power supply. Bought from HiFi Boutique, an authorized Silent Angel dealer, it comes with a USA-based warranty and local dealer support.
Two zones
N16 has two individual 8-port Gigabit subsystems. In parallel mode, connect each zone to your router separately to keep audio devices and computers on isolated zones. In series mode, daisy-chain Zone 1 into Zone 2 to further purify the signal for audio devices.
Linear power and clocks
A built-in linear power supply with a toroidal transformer and fast-response MOSFET regulation keeps system power stable, and each zone has its own linear-powered TCXO, 50 times more precise than a general crystal clock. EMI absorbers inside reduce electrical interference.
Installation
The rack-mountable chassis comes with a mounting kit for A/V racks. N16 is optimized for Roon networks, such as a Rhein server as Roon Core with Roon Ready players, and for NAS libraries.
