Silent Angel presents Z1 Plus as your music server for Roon Core: its 4-core Intel J6413 processor handles Roon Core DSP transcoding from PCM to DSD256, and VitOS lets you install Roon Server (Roon Core and Roon Bridge) as an add-on alongside HQPlayer NAA, DLNA and Spotify Connect.
Two configurations
Choose 16 GB of DDR4 with a 250 GB NVMe SSD, or 32 GB of DDR4 with a 4 TB NVMe SSD for a large local library. Both come in Black or Silver and share the same chassis, clocking and outputs.
Clocking and noise control
Two TCXO clocks, one for each Gigabit Ethernet port, keep network latency and jitter low, and a gold-plated 25 MHz external clock input with an internal/external selector switch opens a clock upgrade path. EMI absorbing material, graphene and a copper heatsink manage noise and heat without a fan, and a high-frequency filter cleans the USB audio output.

USB audio output reaches PCM 768 kHz and DSD512. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports separate network connectivity from an audio player, and USB 3.1 x2, USB 2.0 and USB Type-C ports connect external storage. Z1 Plus can stream to up to 10 players at once. Power comes from an external 12 V / 3 A supply with a 5.5 × 2.5 mm connector.
Pairing and system building
