Silent Angel Bonn NX is Silent Angel's reference audiophile network switch, the culmination of its switch engineering. Bought from HiFi Boutique, an authorized Silent Angel dealer, it comes with a USA-based warranty and local dealer support.
Clock and power
A 25 MHz TCXO with multi-stage power filtering provides an ultra-low phase-noise clock for the switch, and a BNC input with an internal/external selector accepts a 25 MHz master clock such as the Genesis GX. A radar-grade internal power module runs from AC, and a 12 V DC jack bypasses it for an external supply such as the Forester FX.
Build
The double-layer chassis pairs an inner galvanized steel layer with a thick aluminum alloy outer layer for shielding and vibration damping. At 439 × 63 × 250 mm it matches the Rhein ZX, Genesis GX and Forester FX.
