About the NuPrime AMG HPA
The NuPrime AMG HPA is a fully balanced headphone amplifier with 1MΩ input impedance and a single-ended, non-negative-feedback Class A amplification module. NuPrime describes it as the first headphone amplifier with a 1MΩ input design, carried over from its flagship Evolution One amplifiers. Why Choose the AMG HPA
The input stage uses an ultra-high-bandwidth, low-noise JFET for the 1MΩ input. Amplification is a single-ended, non-negative-feedback Class A module for wide bandwidth and rich second-order harmonics.
Input, volume, amplification and output stages are independent for each side of the balanced signal. Two MUSES72320 chips give 100 balanced volume steps, which NuPrime calls the best volume control it has put into a product. The AMG front panel is milled from 15mm hardened aerospace aluminum alloy on a four-axis CNC machine with a diamond cutter, in a 48-step process, with a 3D floating logo and diamond-cut edges.
