About the Silent Angel Bonn N8
Silent Angel Bonn N8 is an audiophile-grade network switch purpose-designed for high-resolution music streaming. Bought from HiFi Boutique, an authorized Silent Angel dealer, it comes with a USA-based warranty and local dealer support.
Bonn N8 lets you build a dedicated audio network, an isolated zone separated from household traffic, so data reaches your streamer with less interference and more accurately timed packets.
Built for audio
Silent Angel's 0.1 ppm TCXO clock is 50 times more precise than the generic crystal used in typical switches, and Silent Angel measures jitter at 369 ps compared with 705 ps for a typical switch. A highly permeable EMI absorber inside the enclosure reduces electrical interference, and a medical-grade power adapter supplies stable power.
Optimized for Roon and streaming
N8 is optimized for Roon systems, such as a Rhein music server as Roon Core with a Munich M1 as a Roon Ready player, for services such as TIDAL, Qobuz and Spotify, and for NAS libraries from QNAP, Synology and WD.
Upgrades
Power N8 from the Forester F1 linear supply, isolate it with S28 foot stands, or daisy-chain a second N8 for further isolation.
