About the Silent Angel Bremen SL1 Plus
Silent Angel Bremen SL1 Plus is a full-width music player with a built-in DAC, balanced and single-ended outputs, and wired or wireless streaming. Bought from HiFi Boutique, an authorized Silent Angel dealer, it comes with a USA-based warranty and local dealer support.
SL1 Plus is Roon Ready and plays Qobuz, Spotify Connect, DLNA, AirPlay 2 and internet radio over Gigabit Ethernet or Wi-Fi. A 6-core processor with 4 GB of memory and 32 GB of system storage runs VitOS.
Outputs and storage
XLR and RCA analog outputs come from a separate DAC board. Optical (to 192 kHz/24-bit), coaxial and USB audio outputs feed an external DAC. An M.2 NVMe slot takes an SSD of up to 4 TB (not included), and USB 3.0 x2 and USB 2.0 ports connect external drives.
Build
The galvanized steel chassis with an aluminum front panel measures 439 × 50 × 250 mm, with an IEC AC inlet. The optional rack ear kit mounts it in a standard rack.
